Advanced high-speed screw cutter equipment for 5G-S production is now available for demonstration in Viken.

The new Screw Cutter tool is perfectly synchronized with the milling machine and considerably better production tolerances than anticipated have been reached. .

The Screw cutter has an advanced in line control system integrated with the milling machine, which measures extremely accurately the speed and the position of the floorboards. The cavities and protrusions of the 5G-S are formed at an exact pre determined position.

The screw cutter could be installed in all types of milling machines between two tool positions and all milling speeds could easily be met.

The new Screw cutter equipment has been developed by Välinge and adapted to meet specific requirements of the new side push fold down locking system which will be used by Kährs in their new 5G-S parquet range. It could however also be used to produce all types of laminate floorings with a 5G-S locking system.

This advanced and unique screw cutter equipment comprising tool sets, a servo motor, position measuring and speed control could only be delivered by Välinge.
