We are today delivering more than 100 million plastic locking strips to customers annually, a number of machines with connected spare part deliveries, production and supplies of HDF locking strips and we are just now starting our deliveries of top layer powder. We will also carry out support production of flooring in terms of board manufacturing and milling/packaging. Since we originate form a pure R&D company, we need to upgrade our logistics procedures and tools, as well as put more resources in the day to day logistic task. Therefor we need a Logistics Manager who will report to the Director of Technology & Support. We are working intensively with the transformation of the flooring industry from the first generation of mechanical locking systems to the future locking system – the fold down locking. Our current licensees need support in the implementation process. As a consequence of the success, we also benefit from increased market shares with new licensees who need support. From our extensive patent portfolio and technology base we offer in addition customized solutions to existing technology demands in our licensees’ operations as well as technology support on new challenges that generate new inventions. The most recent ground breaking invention by Välinge is a new type of flooring that is expected to become just as important as the laminate floor and the parquet floor all together. Our pioneering licensees do currently engage us heavily in the first market launches in all dimensions – material supply, project management and engineering of industrial solutions. We need more skilled, professional and creative engineers who thrive to work with everything from small detailed tasks to complex technology launches in an international environment. The department consist of of both technical experts as well as Technical Account Managers acting as customer contact persons and project managers/business developer.
