Välinge is pleased to announce yet another licensee have started their 5G sales, Ekowood International Berhad, Malaysia.

Ekowood International Berhad has been a Välinge licensee since 2002 utilizing the by Välinge patented 2G locking system. Välinge and Ekowood have signed a global 5G license agreement which gives Ekowood the right to produce and sell the by Välinge developed fold down locking technologies.

The use of 5G fold down technology, where the boards are angle engaged on the long sides with vertical folding comprising a flexible tongue, on the short sides, offers considerable advantages over other installation methods. This system has been on the market since Domotex in January 2005. The 5G fold down installation method has been very well received and large volumes have been sold in 2007 and 2008.

By this Välinge and Ekowood will continue its close co-operation and are convinced that the new EkoLoc 5G locking system will lead to increasing volumes.
