Välinge continues to show extraordinary patent strengths with 13 patent victories at EPO.

Välinge has now 13 patents that have successfully passed oppositions or opposition appeal. The success rate of Välinge is outstanding in the flooring industry.

"We have once again shown that our inventions and patents are of the highest quality and that they are able to withstand the ultimate tests during opposition procedures. Opponents that continuously fail in their oppositions are facing increased risks in legal actions," says Darko Pervan CEO of Välinge.

Välinge will, if necessary, assert all its patent rights against companies who infringe upon its intellectual property and refuse to take a license or cease the unauthorized use of the patented technology.

Välinge anticipates that its patent portfolio will grow to about 2.000 patents in some years and that it will be impossible to have a profitable laminate or wood flooring business without access to the Välinge technology base.
