Alloc has signed a license for Välinges 4G and 5G-S systems for laminate flooring

Viken, Sweden - October 11, 2010

Välinge is pleased to announce Alloc as the first Licensee of the new Aluminium based 4G system for the long side as well as the first laminate Licensee of the 5G-S side push system for the shorts side.

In 1996 Alloc was the first in the world to use glue less mechanical locking systems in its laminate floors. This first generation of aluminium locking system, the 1G system, has now been further developed and improved. The new 4G system is more cost efficient and has an even better locking function. The combination with the 5G-S fold down system at the short edges provides a very easy installation with a guaranteed perfect result.

Välinge and Alloc have signed a global license agreement which gives Alloc the right to produce and sell laminate floor utilizing Välinge’s new 4G Aluminum system combined with the 5G-S fold down locking.

Alloc has during the summer of 2010 done a pre-launch to selected customers with excellent feedback. Since then investments are proceeding to prepare for the official launch at the leading fairs Domotex and Surfaces in January 2011. Initially the 4G and 5G-S systems will be launched in the new range of premium products- the Prestige collection - and later during 2011 more ranges will be converted.

”Alloc is regarded as a leader in design, innovation and product quality. Now with the introduction of 4G and 5G-S we are not only introducing a state of the art locking system but also preparing our whole production in Norway for several new innovative formats and designs. The launch of this next generation of locking systems is also done at Domotex, at the 15 years anniversary of the first Alloc locking system” says Mr Bengt Rasin, President Alloc.
