Solid Edge
Since a few years back, Välinge has develop a new production method to produce a bevel i a laminate board. The new technology is a revolution due to that it is a continues process were pre-profile, heat and form a bevel is made in-line without the need of adding paint or foil.
Solid Edge is the first production method in the flooring industry were the products own decorepaper and overlay is used to form the protective layer in a bevel. A depth of 0,5 mm can be achieved in most DPL products.
The material is pressed in-line together with the profiling line. There is no time lost when changing decors as no tape or colour needs to be changed. The equipment is simple to handle and adjust.
Välinge has together with Wemhöner Systems technologies AG developed a machine that is able to in a continues process pre-profile, heat and form a bevel in a laminate board.
