The new profiling machine arrived in Viken on Monday 27.04. and will enhance our capability to further prototype production in plastic products (such as LVT and SPC) and mineral cores. In these times where traveling is not an option, we did our first ever remote FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) together with Homag in Germany. It was a somewhat challenging process but on the whole, we are very happy with how it worked and with the good result.
The new double end tenoner significantly improves our capacity to support our licensees and will be a great additional resource to further increase our capacity to develop new technologies and produce prototypes.
“The flooring business is changing and with the newest trends in resilient materials, Välinge Innovation is adapting our business for us to continue to be on the top of our game. This investment is only one of many in recent years with this purpose” Niclas Håkansson, CEO of Välinge Innovation says.
Since its start in the 1990’s, Välinge Innovation has always been a front runner in regard to our machinery. Our investment in the new Homag line continues this legacy and keeps Välinge Innovation at the very top in flooring development and innovation. In addition to investing in machinery we are as always investing in R&D and further increasing our competence level to continue developing innovations for the flooring industry.
One of Välinge Innovation’s core strengths is our capacity to support our licensees in developing prototypes with our locking technology optimized and tailor made for different materials. We have the ability to adapt and support our partners in unique ways that fits exactly their business and challenges, no matter where in the world they are.
We are trying to keep up business as usual which isn’t always easy in these hard times.
