Oak veneer is the most crucial raw material in the Woodura® production process developed and patented by Pervanovo’s subsidiary Välinge Innovation AB. The aim of the acquisition is to secure supply of sufficient quantities of cost-efficient high-quality veneer for the expanding production of flooring with Woodura surface.
Norwegian particle board producer Forestia signed a license agreement with Välinge earlier this year and is now launching particle board subfloors with a specially developed version of 2G locking technology by Välinge.
Välinge has signed a license agreement with the Chinese furniture producer Jiangsu Aofan Furniture Co., Ltd. The agreement will enable the company to engage in high-volume production of furniture featuring Threespine®click furniture technology.
Classen confirms--in a statement published on the company's website on May 29, 2018--that Välinge has the exclusive sub-licensing rights for the Classen fold-down patents listed in the agreement signed back in 2012.
